JARDÍN PERPETUO EXHIBITION

2026

by Edgar Mondragón & Erik López.

_Jardín Perpetuo is an audiovisual environment created by Edgar Mondragón in collaboration with Erik López, proposing a pause in the face of the digital saturation of contemporary life. The artists invite us to slow down, observe, and reconsider our relationships with technology through contemplation as a form of immersion.

The exhibition begins from a paradox: the very tools that generate noise, surveillance, and digital fatigue are used here to produce calm, introspection, and critical distance. Far from immediate consumption, the intersections of image and sound reorganize our attention, sustaining our listening without haste and allowing us to inhabit time differently, inviting us to remain within a temporality outside everyday virtual life.

Amid the avalanche of information, this exhibition creates the conditions to transform acceleration into slowness and excess into presence.
